The Panhandle Council of Car Clubs in the Amarillo area sponsors a huge car show to benefit automobilia.  All proceeds from this annual show are donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation in support of their special children.  Our Antique Car Club usually raffles an item at each annual car show.  Proceeds from the raffle are then given to PCCC as our gift to the MAW organization.

During the summer of 2014, our club hosted a tour.  Members of the National Antique Automobile Association from all over the United States and Canada came to Amarillo and see our sites.  Of course we took them to the Big Texan, various High Plains museums, and to see the play, TEXAS.  Mother nature decided to end the drought during our outing to the canyon to see the play.

The pictures at right show a few of those who came to see Amarillo culture at its finest.  We did our very best to make everyone feel at home. The closing banquet was a blast.  We gave everyone momentous and memories to take home.

The pictures to the left are of a few of our members who make this club so wonderful.  We have some fantastic people!

At the 2016 Make-A-Wish Car Show, the club raffled a hand made Route 66 Quilt.  Van Trapp made three beautiful clocks from antique car wheels.  Between the quilt, the clocks, and the marble machine, we made $1740.00 for the kids this year.  Mack won best of show in the model section of the show with his wooden 18 wheeler and excavator combination.  This was also raffled and made another $600.00 for the kids. Our hard working members did their part to make the show a success.  We have great members.

The pictures at right show a few of the items we made for grandkids and things we raffled at the Make-A-Wish Car Shows.  The little red wagon was heavily modified to appear as a T-Bucket, but was still just a wagon with a tongue.  The wooden Phaeton was our club's entry to the modeler's section of the car show.  The marble machine was used to earn funds for the Make-A-Wish kids.  The tricycle and trailer were raffled at the 2015 MAW car show..

The vehicles shown at the left are examples of the fine workmanship of our various Club members who have entered the Make-A-Wish Car Shows.
